Photiana Pattoura

Photiana Pattoura holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and a Master’s Degree in Oceanography and Marine Environment Management from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

She joined Greenpeace Greece in 2011 as a member of its Direct Dialogue Team, actively involved in promoting environmental awareness in the framework of the organization’s fundraising activities.

Thereafter, in 2013 until 2018 she joined the Hellenic Centre of Marine Research in Athens. Her research concentrated mainly on the age and reproduction of commercial fish such as the European hake.

Photiana is mostly interested in marine species biology as well as marine environment protection and conservation.

She joined Enalia Physis in September 2019 and is involved in several projects such as MarLit and Relionmed.
