Internships – Training day on Cypriot Fisheries

Enalia Physis supports education through internship programmes focusing on ecology, biology, conservation and management. Undergraduate or graduate students, or early-career scientists who are looking for opportunities to gain hands-on experience, come to us to work alongside our team specialists and engage in interesting projects.

In this training workshop, our interns had the opportunity to learn about the Cypriot fisheries, the different fishing methods and gears and the different species that are caught on small-scale fisheries from local fishermen we interviewed at the Zygi Marina.
