Junior Researcher & Scientific Diver

Vasilis Resaikos

Vasilis is a Junior Researcher and professional Scientific Diver, as well as a qualified Technical Diving and Rebreather Instructor. A Fellow of The Explorers Club, he holds a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Research in Marine Science.

With a strong passion for the underwater world, Vasilis combines scientific knowledge with advanced diving expertise to support marine research in complex and often inaccessible environments. His work focuses on marine ecosystems, scientific diving methodologies, benthic communities, and dark habitats.

His journey with Enalia Physis began in 2019 through an internship that marked the start of a long-standing and productive collaboration. Since then, he has contributed to more than 30 research projects and played an active role in the organization’s scientific activities. He is also co-author of over 20 publications in scientific journals, highlighting his contribution to marine science and the dissemination of research.
