Elias Giannakis

Elias is a research affiliate in Enalia Physis in environmental and marine economics from November 2017. He holds an MSc and PhD from the Agricultural University of Athens in agricultural and rural economics. He is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Energy Environment and Water Research Center of The Cyprus Institute in environmental and resource economics. He has participated in many EU-funded research projects (a) investigating the economic and environmental costs and benefits of climate change adaptation options and (b) assessing the socioeconomic impact of European environmental, agricultural and regional policies. His research interests include bio-economic modelling, general equilibrium models and participatory research.
