Under the framework of the CERECON project, Enalia Physis Environmental Research Centre and SPOT, in collaboration with the Shark Trust have developed Commercial Fisheries Advisories for professional fishermen operating within the Republic of Cyprus. These are designed to assist the commercial fishing industry and fisheries management and enforcement agencies. They provide rapid access to the current legislative status of sharks, skates and rays in EU and International waters applicable to the Republic of Cyprus.
